- 1 kg Chicken
- 7-8 cloves
- 3-4 green chillies
- 1 piece ginger
- leaves Few coriander
- 4 tbsp mustard oil
- 1 bay leaves
- 2 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 onion sliced
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 2 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- as required Water for gravy
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chicken masala
- as required Coriander leaves for garnishing
Steps to make to make Dhaba style chicken curry
- In a mixie add ginger, garlic, green chillies and coriander leaves and blend them to smooth paste.


- Heat oil in a kadhai and fry onion till it's slightly brown.


- Heat mustard oil in pressure cooker and add bay leaf, clove, cinnamon stick and coriander paste. Fry the paste on medium-low heat for 10minutes. Then add fried onion and stir well.


- Now add chicken, water, along with spices red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric water, salt and water. Keep stirring occasionally.

- Keep adding water in regular intervals and cook chicken for 20 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, garam masala, chicken masala and pressure cook chicken for 2 whistles. Once the chicken is cooked garnish with coriander leaves.

- Finally, Dhaba style chicken curry is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice or roti.
